Abstract

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of coronary artery diseases by comparison of dynamic electrocardiogram with coronary angiography. Methods 92 patients with suspected coronary artery diseases were examined with dynamic electrocardiogram and coronary angiography, the diagnostic results were compared and determined. Results The results of dynamic electrocardiogram were positive in 66 patients and coronary angiography were positive in 53 patients and negative in 13 patients. The results of dynamic electrocardiogram were negative in 26 patients and coronary angiographywere negative in 20 patients of them and positive in 6 patients of them. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, false positive rate were 72.6%(53/73),31.5%(6/19),72.6%(53/73),68.4%(13/19),respectively.The dynamic electrocardiogram false negative rate of a single branch coronary artery was higher than that of multibranch coronary arteries. Conclusion The dynamic electrocardiogram may be used as a screening test for diagnosis of coronary artery disease and the combination of The dynamic electrocardiogram with coronary angiography can increase the diagnostic specificity and accuracy of coronary artery diseases.
