The relationship between the expression of p16,p53,Rbgene protein or proliferating nuclear antigen and clinicopathologic features of human gastric cancer

Objective: To detemine the relationship between the expression of MTS1/p16, p53, Rb gene protein or proliferating cell nuclear antigen（ PCNA） and clinicopathologic of human gastric cancer. Methods: Using SP immunohistochemical methods, p16, p53, Rb and PCNA expression were detected in 63 specimens of gastric carcinoma. Results:The positive expressions for p16, p53, Rb and PCNA were 63.5％ , 60.3％ , 65.6％ and 71.4％， respectively. For p16, the positive rates decreased with the progression of the pathological grade and invasion,while for p53， Rb and PCNA,the positive rates increased .
