Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate the infection status and drug resistance of mycoplasma from urogenital tract and provide bases for the clinical treatment.METHODS The mycoplasma cultivation, identification and drug susceptibility testing of 596 specimen collected from urogenital tract were performed by IST2 kit(bioMerieux).RESULTS The total positive detection rate of mycoplasma was 32.2%.The positive detection rates of ureaplasma urealyicum(Uu),mycoplasma hominis(Mh) and combination infection were 28.4%,0.3% and 3.5%,respectively.The drug sensitivity rates to pristinamycin, doxycycline,Josamycin, tetracycline and clarithromycin were between 88.8% and 95.9%.The drug resistant rate of combination infection was higher than that of Uu infection. The antibiotics with higher susceptibility were doxycycline(66.7%) and pristinamycine(76.2%).The drug resistant rates to macrolides and quinolones were between 46.7% and 100.0%.CONCLUSION The mycoplasma cultivation and drug susceptibility testing are important for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.
