Abstract
Cultivave Vicia faba with the water from Wei River Xinxiang passage, fix its root tips, observe its micronucleus rate after hydrolysis and dyeing and at the same time establish negative control group and positive control group to demonstrate contrast. The result shows that the micronucleus rate of root tip cells of Vicia faba cultivated with the river water is higher than that of the negative control group and that the micronucleus rate of root tip cells of Vicia faba cultivated by some sections of the river is near that of the positive control group. This study suggests that pollution of different degrees exists with Wei River Xinxiang Passage.
