Abstract
Objective: To analyze the type, distribution, and probability of adverse transfusion reactions. Methods: Transfusion events were investigated by retrospective surveys in certain hospital in the past five years.Return singles of adverse transfusion reactions were collected, and analyzed by statistical methods. Results: In a total of 14,600 cases(each donor as an example),the occurrence of adverse transfusion reactions was 166 cases, and the incidence of adverse reactions was 1.14%.Meanwhile,the incidence of adverse reactions was 1.47% in plasma infusion, was 1.37 % in transfusion of whole blood, was 1.11% in infusion of platelets, was 0.78% in red blood cell suspension. In 166 cases of adverse transfusion reactions, fever accounted for 51.20%,an allergic reaction accounted for 45.78%,and non-hemolytic transfusion adverse events. Conclusion: Medical institutions should establish a standardization system of the use of blood, and strictly implement it.Meanwhile, the incidence of adverse transfusion reactions should be reduced to the minimum extent by utilizing new methods and new technology.
