Observation of Tripterygium wilfordii in treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis

Objective To investigate clinical efficacy of Tripterygium wilfordii in treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis.Methods Our hospital from January 2008 to July 2011 were treated 89 cases of chronic glomerulonephritis patients,patients were randomly divided into two group of 45 patients and a control group of 44 patients in the observation group application TWP 20mg tablets/time,3 times/day.The control group received tablets every three compound nephritis,3 times/day.All patients received continuous treatment for more efficacy after 3 months.Results The two groups of patients after treatment total effective rate was 80.0%,63.6% in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).After treatment,urinary protein,Scr,Ccr,BUN significantly improved compared with before treatment(P0.05),but to improve the level of the observation group was better than the control group(P0.05).Conclusions Tripterygium wilfordii in treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis there is a genuine effect,not only can eliminate or reduce proteinuria,hematuria,but also can improve renal function,delaying the progress of chronic kidney disease.
