Abstract
Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of dacryocystorhinostomy under endoscopy in treating recurrent dacryocystitis.Method:The clinical data of 18 cases (22 eyes ) with recurrent dacryocystitis accepted dacryocystorhinostomy through nasal cavity and lacimal sac were analysed retrospectively.Result:Twenty eyes recoverd, the rate was 90.9%. 2 eyes improved, the rate was 9.1%.No complications occurred. Conclusion: Compared with the external technique, endoscopic approach for recurrent dacryocystitis has many advantages, such as less trauma, simple operation and satisfactory result.
