Abstract
Objective: To study the effect of the nasal endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy on eldly patients with chronic dacryocystitis.Methods: 22 eldly patients(26 eyes) suffering from chronic dacryocystitis received nasal endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy.Their clinical data were analyzed retrospectively.Results: Of all 26 eyes,24 eyes(95.7%) were cured,2eyes(4.3 %) obviously improved.No complications occurred.Conclusion: Nasal endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy is an effective surgical method to treat chronic dacryocystitis.
