Abstract

Objective To evaluate the Clinical curative effect of dacryocystorhinostomy with nasal endoscope for recurrent dacryocystitis. Methods 22 examples of the recurrent chronic dacryocystitis patients who had accepted the percutaneous dacryocystorhinostomy were treated with dacryocystorhinostomy through nasal cavity and by removing the tissue of cicatricial and granulation; After the operation, silica gel was left and managed for 3~6 months. Results 5 month~5 year's following up showed that 20 of the 22(90.9%) cases were cured.Effectiveness is 95.5%.Conclusion Compared with the external technique, endoscopic approach for recurrent dacryocystitis has many advantages, such as less trauma, simple to operate, and satisfactory result.
