The change of larger platelet ratio in gestational hypertension

Objective: To investigate the large platelet ratio changes in patients with gestational hypertension and know the clinical significance.Methods: The platelet parameters,including the large platelet ratio(P-LCR),the total number of platelet(PLT),mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet distribution width(PDW) were detected by using the SYSMEX ZA7000 automated hematology analyzer in 40 normal pregnant women and 95 gestational hypertension women.Results: In gestational hypertension group the PLT was lower than that in normal pregnancy group(P0.05),the MPV,PDW,P-LCR were higher than those in the normal group(P0.05).Compared with the mild preeclampsia,the PLT in the severe group was lower(P0.05),and the MPV,PDW,P-LCR were higher(P0.05).In the severe group the PLT of the complications was lower(P0.05),and the MPV,PDW,P-LCR were higher than those in the non-complications group(P0.05).P-LCR and MPV,PDW were correlated;P-LCR and PLT were correlated(P0.05).Conclusion: The changes of the P-LCR can reflect the degree of hypertension in pregnancy;the P-LCR can be expected to be an indicator of the degree of hypertension.
