Abstract
Objective To determine the content of total saponins from different lily. Methods With HClO4 for colorimetric reaction and at 408 nm ultrasonic treatment, spectrophotometer was used to determine the sapongein levels in all samples. Results The total sapongein levels in each sample were between 0.122~0.251 mg/g,in which the total saponins in Lilium brownii from Jiangsu was the highest, the good linearity was shown in the range of 12.6~22.7 μg/mL and the linear equation was: A=30.059C-0.0341,r=0.9993.Conclusion The result shows that the content of total saponins in different species of Lilium brownii is different.
