Clinical Study of"Skin-Producing Ointment"for Limb Injury Wound

Objective:To investigate the clinical effects and safety of treating limb injury wound with Chinese medicineSkin-Producing Ointment. Methods:A total of 71 cases of limb injury wound were divided into two groups with randomized,controlled and multi-center research methods.The 35 cases in treatment group were treated with external application ofSkin-Producing Ointment;the 36 cases in control group were treated with external application of vaseline gauze ointment.The treatment courses of both groups were 15 days.Results:The healing rates of treatment group were higher than those of control group on 5th,10th and 15th days,and the difference on 15th day had statistical significance(P0.01).The wound healing time in treatment group varied from 9 days to 26 days,with an average of(18.34±4.35) days;the wound healing time in control group varied from 11 days to 40 days,with an average of(21.97±6.84) days.There were significant differences between the healing times of the two groups(P0.05).No evident toxic and adverse reactions were observed in both treatment group and control group.Conclusion:Skin-Producing Ointmentcan provide better clinical response than vaseline and is safe in clinical application.
