Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of seeking Yang in Yin method on Sjogren's syndrome. Methods 100 patients with Sjogren's syndrome were randomly divided into two groups. 50 patients in control group were treated by conventional therapy of integrated Chinese and Western medicines. 50 cases in treatment group additionally received Cassia Twig,6 g and common ginger,10 g on the basis of control group treatment. The course was a month in two groups. The curative rate was evaluated after three courses. The changes of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms score, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, saliva flow rate,C- reactive protein and the immunoglobulin were observed. Results Compared with those in control group, the curative effect in treatment group was better( P 0. 05),the improvement of traditionalChinese medicine symptoms was more obvious( P 0. 05),Erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C- reactive protein and the immunoglobulin was decreased( P 0. 05),saliva flow rate was increased( P 0. 05). Conclusion Seeking Yang in Yin method can significantly improve clinical symptoms of Sjogren's syndrome and has the exact effect.
