Abstract

[Objective] The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the eye acupuncture treatment to sjogren's syndrome(SS). [Methods]With randomized controlled methods,46 cases of sjogren's syndrome hospitalized-patients were randomly divided into two groups. The control group of 22 cases was given western medicine(Hydroxychloroquine sulfate/6mg/kg.d)and wet gel(1times/d)was applied to the mouth to keep your mouth moist 6-8h before bedtime. while the treatment group of 24 cases was treated with the eye acupuncture treatment added with western medicine,1 day,1 month of treatment; And after a month those including the main symptom score changes and clinical efficacy were observed before and after treatment. [Results]In the treatment group,7 cases were markedly effective,14 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 87.5%.In the control group,5 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective,8 cases were ineffective and the total effective rate was 63.7%. The treatment group was better than the control group(P﹤0.05);and symptom score in the treatment group was improved more obvious than those in the control group(P﹤0.01).[Conclusion] Eye acupuncture treatment of Sjogren's syndrome has better clinical effect and safety. It is worth promoting.
