Abstract

Objective To evaluate the availability and clinical outcome of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL)in treating upper urinary calculi. Methods A total of 136 patients suffering from upper urinary calculi who were treated with MPCNL. Results Of 136 cases, one-stage stone free was achieved in 93 cases, second -look was needed in 38 cases. 5 cases were cured by ESWL after MPCNL. Conclusion MPCNL is regarded as a minimal invasive and good effective method for treatmenting renal or upper ureteral stones
