STUDY ON THE INFECTION OF UREAPLASMA UREALYTICUM AND CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS IN INFERTILE MEN'S SPERM

[Objective] To study the current situation of infection of ureaplasma urealyticum and Chlamydia trachomatis in infertile man's sperm in Luzhou area,and explore the association of Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum in-fection with infertility.[Methods] Fluorescence quantitative PCR(FQ-PCR)was used to quantitatively detect UU DNA and CT DNA in the sperm of 228 men with infertility and 156 normal men.[Results] In infertility group:CT positive rate was 34/228(14.91%),UU positive rate was 88/228(38.62%),UU+CT positive rate was 22/228(9.65%).In normal men group:CT positive rate was 2/156(1.28%),UU positive rate was 7/156(4.49%),UU+CT positive rate was 1/156(0.64%).There were significant differences in positive rates of CT、UU AND UU+CT between the infertile man group and the normal man group(P﹤0.005).[Conclusion] CT and UU infection in men's sperm was one of the factors causing infertility.It is neces-sary for the infertile men to receive routine examination and treatment in time.
