The relationship between women infertile and Ureaplasma Urealyticum and Chlamydia Trachomatis

Objective:To study the infection of ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) and Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) in infertile women in Luzhou area and to explore the association of UU、CT infection with infertility.Methods:Fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (FQ-PCR) was used to detect quantitatively UU DNA and CT DNA in reproductive tract secretion of 238 infertile women and 208 normal women.Results:In infertility group: UU positive rate was 88/238(36.97%),CT positive rate was 72/238(30.25%),UU+CT positive rate was 34/238 (14.29%); In normal group: UU positive rate was 28/208 (13.46%),CT positive rate was 22/208(10.58%),UU+CT positive rate was 10/208(4.81%). There were significant differences in positive rate of UU,CT and UU+CT between the infertile women and the normal women group (P0.01).Conclusion:Infection with UU and CT in women's reproductive tract is one of the factors causing infertility. It is necessary for the infertile women to receive the routine examine and treatment in time.
