Abstract
Nowdays college English teaching can't get rid of the model ofcramming,students are still in passive state. From the point of Constructivism and Cognition,this paper analyses the importance of autonomous learning,emphasizes the students' activeness in learning and the meaning it brings to the reform of foreign language teaching model.
