The bullwhip effect seriously affects the operation efficiency of a supply chain After introducing the Bullwhip phenomenon and its causes,the authors suggest to reduce the bullwhip effect by information sharing and describe the framework of the information sharing system ofenterprises on a supply chain. In the end,based on the compahson between the enterprise information management models with information shanng system and the management models without information sharing system,the authors show that information sharing is not only necessary,but also effective
