Abstract
objective To evaluate the relationship between the β 2-MG(β 2-Microglobin)levels in urine and the malignant tumors of digestive system. Methods The β 2-MG levels in urine were tested with RIA(radioimmunoassay) for controI group and the 212 patients respectively and the levels were analyzed with statistic method. Results The average β 2-MG level in urine of the patients suffering various kinds of malignant tumors of digestive system was higher than the average level of the controI group. the difference was significant( P 0 01). Conclusion The β 2-MG level in urine can be taken as one of the marks of the malignant tumors of digestive system to diagnose and follow up the diseases.
