Analysis on the Accidental Injury Death in PiZhou City during 1990-1999

Objective To study the accidental death level,cause,distributional,characteristic and tendency,and provide scientific basis for prevention and controlment.Methods Siglificance test of linear regression in 2*C table and epidemiology method were used to study the trend of the mortality and YPLL rate.Results The mortality rate of accidental injury in ten years was 84 81/10 5,lower than respiratory disease,cancer and circulation system disease,ranked the fourth among all death causes.While the YPLL of accidental injury was the first rank.The mortality rate of accidental injury death rate was on the decrease(p0 01).The SMR(84 96/10 5)was higher than the whole country(65 24/10 5)and the whole countryside(72 10/10 5).YPLL rate declined remarkedly(P0 01).Both its range and speed exceeded the level of the mortality declined.Conclusion The death caused by accidental injury was the key cause that affected people's health,but it had smaller effect on life lost.
