Efficacy observation of Mifepristone in the treatment of climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding

Objective: To explore the efficacy of Mifepristone in the treatment of climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleed-ing,in order to provide basis for clinical treatment.Methods: 28 cases of dysfunctional uterine bleeding patients in our hospital from January 2007 to December 2010 were randomly divided into two groups,each 14 cases.Observation group was given Mifepristone,control group was given Testosterone Propionate and Methyltestosterone,compared the changes of hormone,side reaction and clinical effect.Results: The effective rate of observation group was 100%(14/14),the effective rate of control group was 71.43%(10/14),the difference was statistically significant(P0.01).After treatment,FSH,LH,E2 and P of two groups were significantly lower than before(P0.05);before and after treatment,PRL and T were not significant dif-ferent(P0.05).After treatment,FSH,LH,E2 and P of observation group was significantly lower than control group(P0.05).There were 3 cases of side reactions in observation group and 5 cases in control group.Conclusion: The clinical effect of Mifepristone is obvious,security,with less adverse reactions and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
