Clinical Study on the Treatment of Mifepristone on Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the treatment of mifepristone on climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding.Method: 105 patients with climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding treated in our hospital from March 2006 to May 2010 were selected and divided into 2 groups,the observation group(mifepristone treatment group)for 52 cases and the control group(desogestrel estradiol tablets treatment group) for 53 cases,and compared the clinical effects of the patients in 2 groups.Result:(1) As for the observation group,32 cases were significantly effective,16 cases were effectual with a total cure rate as 92.3%.As for the control group,21 cases were significantly effective,22 cases were effectual with a total cure rate as 81.1%.There was significant difference in the total cure rate of the 2 groups(P0.01),which has statistical difference.(2) There was significant difference in the levels of sex hormone FSH,LH,E2 and P after treatment of the 2 groups(P0.01),which has statistical difference.Conclusion: The effects of applying mifepristone to treat climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding is perfect,which is worthy popularization and application.
