Abstract

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Nd:YAG laser in treating lacrimal passage obstruction. Methods 460 cases(483 eyes) lacrimal passage obstruction treating with Nd:YAG laser. Results Puncta obstruction 10 cases(10 eyes) were cured(100%),canaliculi obstruction cases 145 eyes were cured(89.35%),lacrimal sac,and nasolacrimal duct obstruction 240 eyes was cured(93.16%),All patients were followed up for 6 months. Conclusions Nd:YAG laser treating lacrimal passage obstruction is simple,effective and has least complication.
