Abstract
Objective To study the diagnostic value on congenital hypertrophic pyloric stenosis(CHPS) in children by using high-frequency ultrasound.Methods 18 children with CHPS were enrolled in this study who received high-frequency ultrasound examination.The major parameters were diameter and length of pylorus,and thickness of pyloric muscles.The widest lumen of pyloric dilatation was observed and measured.Results The findings of ultrasonic examination in 17 cases with CHPS were in accordance with the findings seen on operation.The coincidental rate was 94.4%.Conclusion High-frequency ultrasound is an optimizing diagnostic technique for children with CHPS.
