Abstract

Objective To explore the value of high frequency ultrasound in congenital hypertrophic pyloric stenosis (CHPS).Methods The length and thickness of canalus pyloricus and the thickness of pyloric muscle were measured by high frequency ultrasound in 30 patients with CHPS,and the data were compared with those of surgery findings.Results There was no significant difference in the thickness of canalus pyloricus pyloric muscle with that found in surgery.Conclusion High frequency ultrasound has a great value in diagnosing CHPS.
