Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determination the content of costunolide in the Fufang Muxiang Xiaobaijian tablet of different batches.METHODS The column was Kromasil C 18(250 mm × 4.6 mm,5 μm),and the mobile phase was methanol-water(70∶30) by HPLC.The detection wavelength was 225 nm,with a flow rate of 1.0 mL.min-1,a column temperature of 25 ℃,and a injection volume of 10 μL.RESULTS In the range of 10.78-107.8 μg.mL-1,costunolide showed a good linear relationship(r = 0.9999,n = 6),with average recovery of 99.86%,RSD = 1.4%(n = 9).The content of costunolide in Fufang Muxiang Xiaobaijian tablet from five batches was 0.08%.CONCLUSION The method is simple,stable.The content of costunolide can be used as one of the bases for the quality evaluation of Fufang Muxiang Xiaobaijian tablet.
