Abstract

Objective To study the relationship between UPA and CD34 with invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer and their relativity. Methods Immunohistochemical staining for UPA and CD34 was performed with a standard avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex detection kit. Results The expression of UPA and CD34 was up-regulated in gastric cancer and obviously increased with the decrease of differentiation, lymphatic metastasis, long distance metastasis, increase of clinical stage. In gastric cancer there was a positive relativity between the UPA and CD34 expression. Conclusion UPA and CD34 play an important role in promoting the pathogenesis of gastric cancer, invasion and metastasis.UPA and CD34 have a close interaction.
