Abstract
Objective To study the effects of the serum antisperm antibodies on the main parameters of semen. Methods The 143 cases of male infertility were selected and divided into the serum antisperm antibody positive group and negative group by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method.A comparison among the semen items which included the sperm density, the sperm activity rate, the sperm a+b activity and the sperm deformity rate of two groups were made. Results The 30 cases were the serum antisperm antibody positive and the percent was 20.98% in the 143 cases. The statistical results of the sperm density, the sperm activity rate, the sperm a+b activity of the serum antisperm antibody positive group were lower than those of the serum antisperm antibody negative group, but the statistical result of the sperm deformity rate of the positive group was obviously higher than that of another group. The difference between them was significant(P0.01 or P0.05)by comparing these items of the two groups. Conclusion The influence of serum antisperm antibody on the main parameters of semen is distinct and the antisperm antibody is one of the important factors resulting in the male immune infertility.
