Abstract
Objective To observe changes of serum levels of soluble C-reactive protein(CRP)in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Methods The levels of CRP were measured in 46 patients with ACS,31 patients with SAP and 30 controls.Seventy-seven patients with coronary angiography were divided into three types according to the morphological division of the plaque:type Ⅰ,type Ⅱand type Ⅲ.Results The levels of CRP in ACS group were significantly higher than those in SAP group and control group(P0.01).The levels of CRP of type Ⅱ were significantly higher than those in type Ⅰ and type Ⅲ(P0.01).Conclusion Elevation of serum level of CRP is related with unstable plaque. It can be used as a serum target to judge plaque rupture.
