Abstract
Objective:To study the serum level of C_reactive protein(CRP)in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)and the relationship between CRP and the stability of coronary artherosclerosis plaque. Methods:Serum levels of CRP in 65 patients in ACS group were examined with coronary angiography(CAG)and intravascular ultrasound(IVUS).Results:The level of CRP in ACS group was significantly higher than that in control group(P0.01).The level of GRP in ACS 2 group(eccentric plaque and/or thrombosis)was higher than that in ACS1 group(concentric plaque). Conclusion:Inflammation has an important effect in the development of ACS,CRP is relative to unstable lesion of plaque.
