115 CASES OF PATELLAR FRACTURE TREATED WITH MODIFIED TENSION-BAND WIRE INTRENAL FIXATION

Abstract

Objective:In view of existing complications of treating patellar fracture with tension band wire internal fixation. Methods:By analysing 115 cases treated with modified methods, which induded many aspects of Kirschner wire and managing, wire circular ligating. Kirschner wire position, blood supply promoting and so on. Results:With 1 5 years followed up, the excellent rate was 77.4%, good rate was 16.5% and the total of excellent and good rate was 93.9%. Conclusion:For the confirmity and dynamic and static pression, modified method can benefit the cure of fracture and the recovery of joint function.
