Clinical Observation of Treatment of Patellar Fracture by Nickel-titanium Shape Memory Alloy Patellar

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of nickel-titanium shape memory alloy patellar fixation for the treatment of patellar fracture.Methods The nickel-titanium shape memory alloy patellar fixation for the treatment of 82 cases of patellar fracture,and with cerclage wire fixation in 20 cases,K-wire tension band fixation,38 cases were retrospectively compared and analyzed.Results The cerclage wire fixation group (Agroup of 20 cases),K-wire tension band fixation group (B group of 38 cases),NT-PC fixation group (C group of 82 cases).Excellent rates were 80.0%,89.5%,96.3%.Excellent and good rate comparison between the three groups,NT-PC fixa-tion was superior to cerclage wire fixation group and the Kirschner wire tension band fixation group,the difference was statistically significant (P0.05).Conclusion The nickel -titanium shape memory alloy patellar fixation for the treatment of patellar fracture in full compliance with the principle of ten-sion band wide scope of application,reduction and reliable fixation,surgical trauma,early postoperative functional exercise may facilitate recovery of joint function and it can be used as first choice for patellar fracture surgical treatment.
