Autologous corneal limbus transplantation in the treatment of pterygium

Abstract

Objective:To observe the thrapeutic effect of autologous corneal limbus transplantation for teatment of pterygium.Method:68 cases(94eyes) with pterygium were performed autologous corneal limbus transplantation.Result: 86 cases had stable corneal epithelial healing and transparent graft. 8 eyes recurred.Conclusion:Autologous corneal limbus transplantation is effect and safe for treatment of pterygium.
