Abstract
The optimum conditions have been studied on which the 1-naphthaleneacetic acid and methanol are esterified into methyl 1-naphthyl acetate in the presence of the aminosulfonic acid, and the reuseability of the catalyst. The yield of the ester could reach 97.5% when the mole ratio of 1-naphthaleneacetic acid, methanol and aminosulfonic acid was 1∶10∶1.05, and the mixture was refluxing for 5 h.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
