Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)for the diagnosis of heart failure. Methods Plasma NT-pro BNP were detected by multi-function immunity examination instrument. One hundred and forty patients were devided into heart failure group and non-heart failure group. Results The plasma NT-proBNP level in heart failure group was higher that in non-heart failure group and control group. There was positive comelation between NT-proBNP and NYHA grading. Conclusion NT-proBNP plays an important role in diagnosis, differential diagnosis and prognosis predicting of heart failure.
