Comparision of Etiasa and Salicylazo Sulfapridini in Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis

Objective To investigate the effect and safety of etiasa contrast to salicylazo sulfapridini(SASP) in treating ulcerative colitis.Methods 38 patients were in salicylazo sulfapridini group(control group).After 4 weeks,the effective and examination of colonoscope to treatment group and control group were assessed.Results Compared with control group,clinical manifestation with treatment group was significantly improved(P 0.01) after 4 weeks,and clinical manifestation of blood stool was not significantly improved(P 0.05).Compared with control group,examination of colonoscope with treatment group was significantly improved after 4 weeks(P 0.01).The total effective patients was 39 cases(88.7%) in treatment group,23 cases(60.6%) in control group after 4 weeks.Conclusion Etiasa can treat effectively and safely ulcerative colitis.
