Abstract

Magnetorheological( MR) fluids is a kind of important intelligent material. In this paper, the constitutions and characters of the MR fluids were introduced. Studies on MR fluids in the last decade were reviewed and the applications of MR fluids to damper,clutch and finishing were summa- rized. The prospect of applications of MR fluids was recounted.
