Abstract

Magnetorheologyical (MR) fluids are regarded as a smart materials that belong to the class of controllable fluids. In this paper, following the introduction of the essential characteristics and work principles of MR fluids briefly, some practical application of MR fluids in engineering are presented in detail, and prospected the development of MR technique in the future at last.
