Abstract
Magnetorheological (MR) fluids are smart materials that respond to an applied magnetic field with change in rheological behavior. Because its mechanical properties can be changed quickly and reversibly,it can be applied in industries and technologies.This paper discusses the components and mechanical properties of MR,discusses some contemporary applications of MR fluids .Further more, this paper reviews the studies of MR fluid and its application of industries and technologies.
