Abstract

[Objective] To detect the dermal irritation, vaginal mucosa irritation and possibilities of dermal allergic reaction of antibiotic colloid and their intensity.[Methods] Dermal irritation test, vaginal mucosa irritation test and dermal allergic reaction test were carried out according to the national standard of disinfection techniques(2002).[Results] The highest skin irritation index was 0.25;no leucocytes infiltration, hyperemia and edema was found in both the case group and the control group in the vaginal mucosa irritation test, the vaginal mucosa irritation index was zero;no red speckles and swollen was found in the dermal allergic reaction test, the dermal irritation reaction was also zero.[Conclusion] The antibiotic colloid has no dermal irritation and vaginal mucosa irritation on rabbits and causes no dermal allergic reaction.
