Progressive exploration and development of Subtle Reservoir in Dainan formation of DT Oilfield

Subtle trap reservoirs (especially those in thin sands)are main targets of progressive exploration and development in oilfields of eastern China. It is very difficult to predict lithological trap, so that progressive exploration and development are difficult. Through delicate reservoir description, subtle reservoir and its forming mechanism are comprehensively studies. Delicate structural is imaged and reservoirs are predicted laterally through full 3 D interpretation and constrained inversion and so on. This research effectively guided the progressive exploration and development of subtle reservoir in Dainan formation of DT Oilfield and achieved good results.
