Abstract
Turbidite reservoirs are broadly distributed, greatly various, deeply buried, more subtle, and difficult to recover, so that preliminary reservoir description is important. Through areal geology analysis, seismic discretion and precise reservoir description, 75 turbidite sands have been discovered in mid - sub member of s3 formation in Shinan area. Progressive exploration and development have been carried out for the Class I sands and resulted in good effect. A set of techniques for turbidite reservoir description and progressive exploration and development has been established.
