Clinical study of 10112 cases received painless colonoscopy.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and safeness of colonoscopy under propofol combined fentanyl′s sedation and anesthesia.Methods 10312 cases were divided into two groups.Anesthesia group(10112 cases):Colonoscopy was undergone when patient was in the fourth grade anesthesia state after propofol and fentanyl was injected intravenous.Control group(200 cases): Colonoscopy was undergone without anesthesia.In two group of patient average arterial pressure,heart rate,blood oxygen saturation was measured before examination,5 minute after examination and operation end.Operation reaction and duration were recorded too.Results There was significant difference in average arterial pressure during examination in two groups(P0.05).During examination heart rate and blood oxygen saturation had significant difference in anesthesia group(P0.05),but they wore normal limits,the control group no had significant difference(P0.05).Anesthesia group had less complains and shorter operation duration compared with control group(P0.05).Conclusion Colonoscopy under propofol combined fentanyl's sedation and anesthesia is effective,safe,superior.
