Abstract
Objective A prospective randomized controlled trial design of rosuvastatin and atorvastatin on coronary heart disease patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods One hundred and two patients in our hospital of premature coronary heart disease patients with acute myocardial infarction was divided into two groups by simple randomly sampling method, each group of 51 consecutive patients.Rosuvastatin group use rosuvastatin therapy,10 mg·d-1,and atorvastatin group use atorvastatin therapy,20 mg·d-1.Detection of blood lipid levels, high sensitive C-reactive protein level(hs-CRP),vascular endothelial function, cardiac function were carried out before treatment and 6 months after treatment. Results Blood lipid level, inflammatory factor, endothelial function of patients in both groups had a significantly difference before treatment and after treatment(P0.05).After treatment total cholesterol and hs-CRP level were significantly lower in rosuvastatin group than atorvarstatin group(P0.05).No serious cardiovascular events happened in both groups. Two patients in rosuvastatin group and four patients in atorvastatin group had recurrent angina, and recurrent cardialvasscular happened to three and five patients in two groups, respectively, but the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Treatments of rosuvastatin 10 mg·d-1 and atovastatin 20 mg·d-1 had no significant difference. Both treatments can reduce blood lipid and inflammatory reaction, and improve endothelial function on the prognosis of patients, but rosuvastatin showed better efficacy.
