Observation of clinical effect of conformal radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with limited-stage small cell lung cancer

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of conformal radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with limited stage small cell lung cancer. Methods 63 patients with limited stage small cell lung cancer were randomly divided into the observation group( 33 cases) and the control group( 30 cases). The observation group was treated with chemotherapy concurrent therapy,and the control group was treated with chemotherapy sequential therapy. Results After the treatment,the total effective rate was93. 9% and 83. 3% in the observation group and the control group respectively( P 0. 05). The survival rates of 1-year and 2-year follow-up were 81. 8%( 27 /33),70%( 21 /30) and 72. 7%( 24 /33),36. 7( 11 /30) respectively in the observation group and in the control group. During the treatment course,the incidence of adverse reactions was slightly higher in the observation group than in the control group,but without significant difference( P 0. 05). Conclusion The curative effect of radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with limited stage small cell lung cancer is remarkable,safe and reliable,and it is worthy of popularization and application.
