Analysis of Use of Chinese Patent Medicine in Our Hospital During 2004～2005

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the use of Chinese patent medicines in outpatient department of our hospital for references of rational drug use in the clinic.METHODS:The consumption data of Chinese patent medicines during 2004～2005 were retrieved from hospital information database,and the use of Chinese patent medicines was analyzed in respect of consumption sum and DDDs.RESULTS CONCLUSION:The use of Chinese patent medicines in our hospital accorded with characteristics of infection disease hospital with an focus on hepatitis.Oral preparations took the lead,but injectable preparations showed an upward trend.The drug kinds were concentrated comparatively,with low-cost drugs showing high proportion,and the drug use was rational on the whole.Huganning tablets,Yangxueyin liquid,Compound Biejiaruangan tablets,Ruangan granula,armillarisin oral liquid were widely used for hepatitis.The self-made Ruangan granula preparation in own hospital has a promising future for development.
