Analysis of the Use of Chinese Patent Medicines in Our Hospital During 2005～ 2006

Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the use of Chinese patent medicines in our hospital for references of rational drug use in the clinic.METHODS:Data regarding the use of Chinese patent medicines in our hospital during the period 2005～ 2006 were retrieved by means of hospital network information system,and the annual consumption sum,DDDs,daily consumption sum were analyzed.RESULTS:Boerning capsules,Zilongjin tablets,Pingxiao capsules were widely used in the treatment of cancer.The preparation made by our hospital enjoyed a promising prospect.The prices of Chinese patent medicines were falling,but the overall consumption sum showed an upward trend.CONCLUSION:The use of Chinese patent medicines in our hospital was basically rational and corresponds to the characteristics of our hospital as cancer special hospital.
