Research on the Clinical Effect of Astragalus Injection in Treating Primary Nephrotic Syndrome

Objective To observe the clinical effect of astragalus injection in treating primary nephrotic syndrome.Method 39 patients with primary nephrotic syndrome were chosen,and they were randomly divided into the control group and experimental group.The control group,including 21 patients,was treated by the integration of lisinopril and prednisone;the experimental group,18 patients,was treated by the integration of astragalus injection,lisinopril and prednisone.We observed the changes of plasma albumin and urine protein of the two groups before the treatment and 2 weeks,4 weeks and 6 weeks after the treatment.Results The urine protein in 24 hours of experimental group was lower than that of control group after they were treated for 6 weeks(P0.05),and the plasma albumin of experimental group was higher than that of control group after they were treated for 4 weeks and 6 weeks(P0.05).Conclusion The integration of astragalus injection,steroids and ACEI is effective in treating primary nephrotic syndrome,and it effectively increases the plasma albumin and decrease the urine protein.
