Discussion on the Relationship between Human Capital and Economic Growth

Abstract

There are more and more studies discussing the relationship between human capital and economic growth in China in the past decade.The present paper summarizes the development of the researches on economic growth and human capital,especially on the contribution of human capital to economic growth,economic development models relating to human capital,and the choosing of human capital indexes.Suggestions about choosing principles for human capital index are provided in the final part of the paper.
